I <3 KARICTERZ

Mixed media artist Billy Nainiger will debut his solo exhibition, I <3 KARICTERZ, with an opening reception on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 5:00–9:00 p.m. at E11even2 Gallery, located inside 78th Street Studios. The gallery, co-owned by Nainiger, will welcome visitors during the building’s popular Third Friday Art Walk, making it the perfect opportunity to experience his newest body of work.

The exhibition will feature approximately 500 new pieces in a wide range of sizes, representing work Nainiger has been creating over the past several years. While he is best known for his mixed media wall sculptures incorporating repurposed and recycled materials, this new collection marks an exciting evolution in his artistic practice. The works are more polished, vibrant, and colorful, while maintaining the warmth, humor, and heart that have become hallmarks of his work.

Each KARICTER possesses its own unique personality and story. Many are individually named after friends, family members, and well-known figures who have inspired or delighted the artist, giving every piece its own distinct identity and charm.

Filled with whimsy, joy, love, and laughter, I <3 KARICTERZ invites viewers into a playful world where imagination and personality come to life through sculpture.

Those unable to attend the opening reception will have another opportunity to experience the exhibition during the closing reception on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 5:00–9:00 p.m., once again coinciding with the Third Friday Art Walk at 78th Street Studios.
